This week’s hair highlight goes to Mercedes Varnado, a.k.a. Mercedes Monè, formerly known as Sasha Banks.
She made her New Japan Pro Wrestling debut this week in a sickening bob. This flamed masterpiece was perfected by the hands of Shannon Romano, wig designer and colorist.
Romano’s style is so unique. Her Instagram feed is a vibrant shock of brilliantly dyed designs. Mercedes’s debut wig being designed by Romano only added to the wrestler’s larger-than-life persona. Even those who do not typically dabble in aesthetics and much less hair extensions — the wrestling fanbase is predominated by white men — were left in awe of this killer bob.
Shannon Romano is beyond gifted.
